If you are going to be in Sundance and are interested in women’s issues, check out the two events below.

In the morning you can attend the Women in Film Breakfast Panel A New Social Consciousness in Film, moderated by producer Lucy Webb, which “will feature women directors, writers and producers will discuss, how their films and artistic choices are being influenced by the social issues of the times, how they got their films made and the changes they foresee in the future of the industry.”
Panelists include: Mary Ann Smothers Bruni – Director of Photography/Director “Quest for Honor”, Beau St. Clair – Producer “The Greatest”, Liz Garbus – Director/Producer “Shouting Fire: Stories from the Edge of Free Speech”, Lili Haydn – Film Score Composer “Over the Hills and Far Away”, Emily & Sarah Kunstler – Directors “William Kunstler: Disturbing the Universe”, Nancy Schreiber – Director of Photography “Motherhood”, AND Trudie Styler – Producer “Moon”.  More details and RSVP info here.
