Got a press release from the folks at Turner Classics movies announcing their month long great directors festival in June.

This month long event will feature 350 films and not a single female director featured is included!

Here are some of the guys:

Frank Capra (It Happened One Night), Alfred Hitchcock (Notorious)  John Ford (Stagecoach); Orson Welles (Citizen Kane), Billy Wilder (Some Like It Hot) and Blake Edwards (Victor/Victoria); Ingmar Bergman (The Seventh Seal), Federico Fellini (La Strada), Francois Truffaut (Jules and Jim)  Akira Kurosawa (Kagemusha); Steven Spielberg (Saving Private Ryan), Martin Scorsese (GoodFellas) and Woody Allen (Hannah and Her Sisters).

And that’s not the full list.

Please don’t tell me that they couldn’t find a single (or several) female director(s) to include.  I bet a lot of women watch Turner Classics Movies.  I know I do.
