Christiane Amanpour signed off from CNN this weekend after 27 years. Check out this montage of interviews from over the years. Notice how many dudes she interviews and remember that the world is still run by men. I will look forward to seeing Amanpour on ABC’s This Week in August.
PS- Boo to CNN for already deleting her and her show from their site. I hope the richness of her archive has not been completely obliterated just because she took a new job.

Cnn is on it’s way out.
When you lose a dedicated reporter like Christiane Amanpour the
end is near.
I am getting ill listening to larry King who by the way is forgetting names, when Sanja Gupta was sitting in for Anderson Cooper, Larry said what’s up Anderson to Sanja.
The situation room is all about Wolff, and the best political team
on television which makes me sick.
CNN has lost many good people,Anderson Cooper is a very good reporter, however he wants to be in the foreground at all times.
If CNN is to survive they must change strategy, have a different format, and make changes and start at the top.
I wish Christiane all the best and thanks for your outstanding reporting.
Huge fan of this woman! Researched and wrote about her, among other great female reporters, in an article called Reporting from the Edge.
I wondered how much support she was getting for her show on CNN, not the best time slot in these parts. However, she is and will remain a powerful role model for women wanting to enter that line of work. Watching where she traveled and how she handled herself is inspiring.
Whatever she does next I will be watching, there are so few of her kind.
Thanks for the post and providing the video clip.
She has more than jouralist then anyone. We hope that ABC
