Eclipse eclipses New Moon’s Overnight Numbers

in Box Office

Even though this film seems to be coming in a bit under the radar screen it will have a big weekend and if you needed confirmation of that fact, the numbers from the midnight screenings are a good guidepost.

The film took in $30 million in midnight screenings breaking the record held by New Moon which was $26.3 million.

Now a women centric film holds number 1 and number 2 in overnight screening numbers.

But we’re not a film market.  Eat my dust.

I really felt that there was less media attention this time.
