Carson McCullers
Here’s some good news. A film is in the works about the writer Carson McCullers. The films will be written by playwright Sarah Schulman and it will be based on her 2002 play Carson McCullers (Historically Inaccurate).
The film will be directed by Deborah Kampmeier who directed Hounddog and Virgin.
Film will be produced by Abigail Disney through her Fork Films which is making a leap out of the doc world into the narrative world with this film.
A lot of great, smart women working together. Sounds terrific.
