Hey folks.  Some of you know that I have been working my tushy off as the producer and co-creator of a new film festival that will take place this February at Barnard College in NYC.

The festival is called the Athena Film Festival and the focus is on women’s leadership.  I have created the festival with the awesome Kathryn Kolbert who runs the Athena Center for Leadership Studies at Barnard.

We will be showing features, shorts and documentaries.  We will have parties and panels.  And the best thing is that there are underground tunnels at Barnard so you can check in your coat at the beginning of the day and then walk around unencumbered.

We are about to start notifying the filmmakers so we will be adding info on the films we will show in the coming weeks.

Tickets will go on sale hopefully in December.

Pencil in these date: February 10-13.

We will need volunteers so if you can give some time, we’d love to have you.

I look forward to seeing you all there.
