We live in such a bizarre and crazy world. Botox is trending down in age and that’s not a good thing. Young women are encouraged to have these injections at an incredibly young age. Wasn’t botox supposed to be for lines that develop as you age? Why would a 25 year old need to get botox?
Here’s actress Carey Mulligan talking about it being pushed on her in the upcoming issue of Elle UK:
On being encouraged to have Botox: ‘So I can’t move my face? Isn’t that the antithesis of what I’m trying to do as an actress? Only in LA would someone try and give you Botox when you’re 25 years old.’
The sad thing is that I have already seem young female actresses whose faces don’t move. I really hope they can look at some of their elder peers (ie Nicole Kidman) for reasons as to why they should skip the procedure. This has got to stop.

Letme see Hillary Duff – can’t furrow a brow to save her life. The girls on Vampire Diaries – can’t furrow, except the guest stars sometimes. and hey – Taylor Swift: poster girl for Botox.
My favorite scene in Desperate Housewives – out of context because I don’t watch it, but I saw this scene with a Housewife tied up by a campfire yelling something about please save someone, pleading to save their life – nary a movement above the nose line. Froze face. I think she was pleading for her child or something.
Also, check out the Klingon foreheads when they try to express and they aren’t entirely frozen – its some weird forehead you’d see on a Star Trec alien.
Not sure Nicole Kidman is the best example. She’s had many surgeries (eyes / nose) and I’m sure she uses the new strategic placement of botox – lighter more careful placements. Annette Benning is a great example of no botox, but not Nicole Kidman.
You had some nice points here. I done a research on the topic and got most peoples will agree with you
