HBO’s Anita Hill Film ‘Confirmation’ Starring Kerry Washington to Debut in April

ConfirmationKerry Washington will show us a very different side of D.C. in "Confirmation," her upcoming Anita Hill biopic.

Written by Susannah Grant ("Erin Brockovich," "Charlotte’s Web"), the HBO film will focus on the Supreme Court confirmation of Clarence Thomas, whom Hill accused of sexual harassment in front of Congress. Thomas still ascended to the highest court in the land, of course, but Hill struck her own victory by bringing greater awareness of women’s issues in the workplace, though at great cost to her reputation.

And now HBO has set an release month of April. A specific debut date is TBD.

"Confirmation" will co-star Jennifer Hudson, Erika Christensen, Grace Gummer and Kimberly Elise.

Washington executive produced the picture with Grant, Janice Williams and Michael London.
