The ladies of Pussy Riot are back with a new video “Like a Red Prison.” The video is the first in over a year, since their anti-Putin protest which led to three of the members being arrested and jailed. Two of them still remain in jail.
This new video is their attempt to draw attention to Putin’s practice of only allowing close allies to share in the proceeds of the energy industry. They also comment about Putin’s ties to the Orthodox church and his homophobia after signing legislation that bans the spread of “gay propaganda” among minors.
