The long-awaited attack on the Capitol will finally take place in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2,” the fourth and final adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ YA series.

The first spot for “Mockingjay — Part 2” finds Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and District 13 President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) leading the invasion against Capitol President Snow (Donald Sutherland), with Effie (Elizabeth Banks) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) in tow. (Katniss’ Games partner Peeta, played by Josh Hutcherson, will stay back in the District 13 bunkers dealing with his artificially induced insanity.)

The girl who inspired a revolution with her courageous compassion will finally get to take part in it. Book readers know, however, that real change requires more than war.

“Mockingjay — Part 2” co-stars Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone and “Game of Thrones” actresses Natalie Dormer and Gwendoline Christie. The franchise finale arrives November 20.
