After months of teaser trailers, the full trailer for Kimberly Peirce’s Carrie is here. Starring Chloe Grace Moretz as the iconic title character, Peirce’s reinvisioning of the film is said to be closer to Stephen King’s original text.
However, Carrie remake skeptics should feel better after watching the new trailer. Peirce’s remake looks to be full of the psychological horror that original gave us and Julianne Moore as Carrie’s mother looks positively frightening.
Carrie hits theaters on October 18.
