Female documentarians made up 8 of the 11 award winners at the 2015 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina.
Betzabé Garcia’s “Kings of Nowhere” and Lyric R. Cabral and David Felix Sutcliffe’s “(T)Error” won the festival’s grand jury prize, while Alexandra Shiva’s “How to Dance in Ohio” picked up the audience award. Phie Ambo’s “Good Things Await” garnered The Nicholas School Environmental Award.
