National treasure Julia Louis-Dreyfus is planning her big-screen follow-up to “Enough Said.”
The actress has been killing it for the past three years on HBO’s “Veep,” of course, which returns April 12 for its fourth season. But Louis-Dreyfus is also in talks to produce and play the female lead role in a remake of “Force Majeure.”
The Swedish arthouse comedy centers on a man who abandons his family during a would-be disaster and has to deal with the consequences of his actions thereafter, which include his wife’s flabbergasted and compulsively needling reminders of his desertion of her and their children during their time of need.
We like that Louis-Dreyfus is using her clout to make projects she is passionate about — and we love that she has the clout to do so.
