It’s not a big stretch to say — actually, it’s the truth — that there would be no Women and Hollywood without the love and mentorship of Nancy Schwartz Sternoff, who recently lost a battle with cancer.
Nancy was there when it was a flicker and helped nurture it to become a reality. She read everything I wrote, listened to all my ideas, got her sister to put me up in LA when I knew no one, and just plain believed in me.
Her loss to the world, to her children, grandchildren, siblings, and to all the friends and colleagues she had is immeasurable.
I just wanted to publicly thank her and to honor her vast contribution to where Women and Hollywood is today. She will be missed.
