Abigail Breslin will become the latest celebrity to write a collection of nonfiction essays.
Based on her Tumblr, “This May Sound Crazy” will include personal stories and advice to readers.
“I started my Tumblr ‘Mixtapes and Winter Coats’ because I wanted to share my late-night ramblings and feels, such as talking to my cat at 2 AM, with all of you,” said Breslin. “That blog evolved into my book, ‘This May Sound Crazy.’ I hope when you read it, you’ll see that you are not alone, even when you’re wondering when it’s OK to text your crush first, which is the most terrifying situation ever.”
Breslin earned an Oscar nomination at age 10 for “Little Miss Sunshine.” Next on her docket is a trio of horror projects: the Ryan Murphy serial-killer mystery “Scream Queens,” the zombie thriller “Maggie,” and the meta-horror film “Final Girl.” She will also release her first album in June.
“This May Sound Crazy” will be published by HarperCollins this October.
