Weeks ahead of the launch of her feature directorial debut, “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.,” Adamma Ebo and her identical twin, Adanne Ebo, a producer on the pic, have signed a multi-year deal with Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television and 20th Television Animation. The pact sees the duo developing, creating, and producing live-action and animated series for all platforms, according to Deadline.
“The Ebo twins currently have ‘Supashawty Girls, Funkamatic Bangbang’ in development with 20th Television Animation for Freeform,” the source details. The series centers on twin college students who become superheroes after a freak laboratory accident.
“I bonded instantly with Adamma and Adanne because they are just as obsessed with animation as we are,” said Marci Proietto, Animation EVP, 20th Television. “The Ebo Twins have unique voices and perspectives with countless stories to tell. I am super excited to welcome them to our 20th Animation Family.”

Set to hit theaters and Peacock September 2, “Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul.” premiered at Sundance in January. Regina Hall stars in the satirical comedy about the wife of a disgraced megachurch pastor.
