Lana Wilson and Martha Shane’s deeply affecting and discourse changing documentary, After Tiller, is about the current state of late-term abortions after the murder of Dr. George Tiller in 2009. The documentary follows Tiller’s colleagues, the four remaining doctors who will perform late-term abortions in the country.
After premiering at Sundance to great reviews, After Tiller opened in theaters earlier this month and is continuing its expansion across the country. Casey N. Cep has written a wonderful review of the film over at The New Yorker and with all the critical acclaim the film is receiving, there’s hope that it will turn into Oscar buzz for a potential Best Documentary nomination.
After Tiller expands to the following cities this week:
Chicago, IL
Seattle, WA
San Francisco, CA
Berkeley, CA

Salt Lake City, UT
