Apply Now: Oxford Film Fest’s Female Filmmaker Retreat

Oxford, Mississippi’s film festival will be hosting a Female Filmmaker Retreat during its 2020 edition. Scheduled to take place March 16-19, 2020 at Oxford’s Camp Hopewell, the retreat will offer five to 10 women filmmakers the chance to discuss their craft with, and learn from, peers and colleagues. Oxford Film Fest is accepting applications for the retreat through September 30.

The retreat will see participants engaging in moderated discussions, attending master class workshops, screening works in progress, and sharing their own career experiences.

Room and board, meals, and retreat materials will be provided by the festival. Participants will also receive VIP passes to the 2020 fest and $400 in travel reimbursement.

In order to be eligible for the program, you must identify as a woman and have had at least one feature film or several shorts brought to a film festival or market.
