Head of BBC Films Christine Langan is stepping down from that post to take on a new role: CEO of Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow Productions.

As Variety reports, Baby Cow was started by Coogan and Henry Normal. Its credits include “Philomena,” “Alan Partridge,” and the TV series “Gavin and Stacey,” “The Mighty Boosh,” and “The Trip.” Normal announced in April that he would be leaving the CEO position.

Langan became an Executive Producer at BBC Films in 2009. She produced the Oscar-nominated film “The Queen,” starring Helen Mirren, and “Pierrepont,” starring Timothy Spall. BBC Films is behind a number of Women and Hollywood’s most anticipated 2016 films, including “Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie,” Meryl Streep’s “Florence Foster Jenkins,” and “Denial,” starring Rachel Weisz.

Earlier in her career Langan produced television, including the hit TV show “Cold Feet,” and Peter Morgan’s BAFTA award-winning “The Deal.”
