Women and Hollywood has been in existence for almost 8 years now. I cannot tell you how much the site and the work has grown since that day in 2007 when I pushed the “publish” button on Blogger (does that even still exist?) on that first post. It’s been four years since we last surveyed readers, and in that time we have grown so much — we now have a managing editor, a researcher/writer, interns and columnists.
Sex and gender has, of course, always been topics in the industry, but Women and Hollywood was here at the beginning of the current discussions of gender in Hollywood. Now, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, there is lots more talk. As the conversation grows, we want to be the leaders in pushing the dialogue to new places.
Thus, we would appreciate it if you took a few minutes to share with us who you are and answer some questions about the content we provide on Women and Hollywood. It would help us so much to take this work to the next level. As a thank you for participating in the survey, anyone who completes it will receive a free download to In Her Voice: Women Directors Talk Directing- Volume 1.
Thank you.
Take the Women and Hollywood 2015 Survey.
