Meg Ryan to TV

Another movie star (or former movie star) is taking to the small screen. Meg Ryan will soon be heading to television screens with a new NBC comedy from Marc Lawrence.

Ryan will play a former big time New York editor who heads back to the publishing house she once worked at. In addition to raising her children, dealing with her soon to be ex-husband and his mother, she will also have to deal with her neurotic boss, Brenda, her former intern. Ryan will executive produce the project alongside manager Jane Berliner.

This marks Ryan’s return to the small screen since her appearances in the western Wildside and the comedy One of the Boys in the 80s.

She recently appeared on multiple episodes of Showtime’s Web Therapy starring Lisa Kudrow.
