Siân Heder won the best adapted screenplay award for “CODA,” her coming-of-age story about an aspiring singer who is the only hearing member in a Deaf family.
Acting honors went to “After Love’s” Joanna Scanlan and “West Side Story’s” Ariana DeBose. The former won best leading actress and the latter best supporting actress.
Other winners included Jenny Beavan, who took home the prize for costume design for Emma Stone-starrer “Cruella,” and Cindy Tolan, who topped the casting category for “West Side Story.”
