There’s been no lack of discussion about Blue is the Warmest Color despite the fact that it hasn’t even hit theaters yet.
From reviews praising the sex scenes in the film to those that deem them exploitative, Julie Maroh’s (the author of Blue Monday which the film was adapted from) slamming of the film to stars Lea Seydoux and Adele Exarchopoulos saying that working with the film’s director, Abdellatif Kechiche was horrible, there will certainly be no shortage of coverage when the film hits stateside.
The film is the coming of age story of Adele (Exarchopoulos) who falls head over heels for Emma (Seydoux) a blue-haired art student and their subsequent romance highlighting the ups and downs of first love.
Blue is the Warmest Color opens on October 25th.
