Trailer Watch: Jennifer Jason Leigh Stars in Jane Weinstock’s The Moment

The trailer has been released for psychological drama The Moment, which stars Jennifer Jason Leigh as a woman questioning reality — and whether or not she’s a murderer. The film is directed by Jane Weinstock (Easy), who co-wrote the script with Gloria Norris (Home Movies). The Moment premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival and will open in select theatres on June 6 in NY and June 20 in LA.

The press material from Tribeca describes the film as follows: “After a tumultuous affair between international photojournalist Lee (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and troubled writer John (Martin Henderson) ends in John’s disappearance, Lee lands in a mental hospital to recuperate. She strikes up a friendship with a fellow patient bearing an uncanny resemblance to her missing lover. The pair works to uncover the truth behind the disappearance, but Lee’s precarious sanity comes under threat when the clues lead to the last place she would ever expect.”
