“The game’s rigged and it does not reward people who play by the rules,” says Jennifer Lopez in a new trailer for Lorene Scafaria’s “Hustlers.” If she and her fellow strip club employees are going to get ahead in life, they’ll need to bend — and break — the rules. Tired of being screwed over, Ramona (Lopez) hatches a plan that will screw someone else over.

“These Wall Street guys, you see what they did to this country?” she asks her co-workers. “They stole from everybody. Hardworking people lost everything. Not one of these douchebags went to jail.”

Ramona and her crew hatch a plan to steal tens of thousands of dollars from the bros who frequent their club. “It’s like robbing a bank except we’ve got the keys,” she tells the other women.

“Hustlers” is based on a true story. Scafaria penned the script. Constance Wu (“Crazy Rich Asians”), Julia Stiles (“Riviera”), Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart (“Riverdale”), Lizzo, and Cardi B co-star.

“The Meddler” and “Seeking a Friend at the End of the World” are among Scafaria’s other credits.
