Trailer Watch: Mindy Kaling Has a Lot to Be Grateful For in “The Mindy Project’s” Final Season

“The Mindy Project”

Exsqueeze me, but did you know “The Mindy Project’s” sixth and final season is about to premiere? A new trailer for the Hulu comedy is here to remind you, and it seems like our favorite OB-GYN is feeling reflective. “I have a lot to be thankful for,” Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) says in the spot. “I got a job, I got a great son, ‘Will & Grace’ is back and bitchier than ever. I’m doing good!”

Mindy’s friends and colleagues are still as delightfully inappropriate as ever, with Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) making comments about group sex, Colette (Fortune Feimster) inviting Mindy to join her “team at any time,” and a former office romance being rekindled.

Kaling created “The Mindy Project.” The “Office” alumna has lined up a number of high-profile acting gigs, including “Ocean’s Eight,” the all-female, star-studded “Ocean’s 11” reboot, Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of beloved sci-fi novel “A Wrinkle in Time,” and Nisha Ganatra’s “Late Night,” a comedy about a late night host and her first female writer. Kaling penned the latter.
