Sam Taylor-Johnson’s latest feature, “A Million Little Pieces,” is set for a U.S. release on December 6.
The feature is based on James Frey’s controversial bestselling memoir of the same name. Aaron Taylor-Johnson portrays a 23-year-old Frey as he seeks help for alcoholism and drug addiction. He and Sam Taylor-Johnson wrote the screenplay.
“You got two choices,” Billy Bob Thornton’s character tells Frey in the new trailer. “You can let it kill you, or you can let it go and move on.”
Sam Taylor-Johnson helmed one of the top-earning women-directed films ever, “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Her other credits include “Nowhere Boy” and “Gypsy.” She is a three-time BAFTA nominee.
