“Are you saying that you need me to save the world?” Tessa Thompson asks Chris Hemsworth in a new trailer for “Men in Black: International.” The reboot of the action franchise sees the “Thor: Ragnarok” co-stars teaming up to “protect the earth from the scum of the universe,” a voiceover explains. But their approach to doing so varies.
Agent M (Thompson) seems much more concerned with protocol than Agent H (Hemsworth). When the former asks about calling in a major incident involving large-scale destruction, the latter complains about the potential paperwork they’d be responsible for.
“Men in Black: International” kicks off in London, but the agents’ mission will take them around the world.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones starred in the original “Men in Black” pics. The trilogy took in over $1.655 billion worldwide.
Thompson can be seen in boxing drama”Creed II,” in theaters now. “Westworld,” “Sorry to Bother You,” and “Annihilation” are among her recent credits.
“Men in Black: International” hits theaters June 14. Emma Thompson co-stars.
