Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters is the latest in paranormal YA adaptations wanting to take the spot Twilight once held.
Adapted from Richelle Mead’s bestselling series, the film follows Rose (Zoey Deutch) a half-human/half-vampire hybrid “dhampir” who is training at school to be a bodyguard for the Moroi, vampire royalty which includes her best friend Lissa (Lucy Fry). The film also stars Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland and Olga Kurylenko.
The film comes from brothers, Daniel and Mark Waters, who were behind two classic teen girl focused films–Heathers and Mean Girls.
Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters will hit theaters on February 14, 2014.
