Game on, bitches: “Wynonna Earp” is back. A trailer has dropped for Season 4 of the cult Syfy show and sees the titular character returning to Purgatory and reuniting with her crew — including her “celestial sister” and “vampire baby daddy.”
“Demons running amok, mystical portals to another worldly realm,” Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) gushes in the spot. “It’s just so good to be home.”
The great-great-granddaughter of iconic lawman Wyatt Earp, Wynonna — with the help of her Peacemaker — regularly saves her hometown of Purgatory from demons, supernatural forces, and the like.
“We’re gonna make our little town a demon-free zone once and for all,” she announces in the trailer. “Clear eyes, full bra, can’t lose.” “Okay, Jon Snow-in-a-B-cup,” another character shoots back.
Created and showrun by Emily Andras, “Wynonna Earp” has won two Writers Guild of Canada prizes, two Canadian Screen Awards, and a People’s Choice Award. Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Katherine Barrell, and Tim Rozon also star.
“Wynonna Earp’s” fourth season premieres July 26. Per Deadline, only the first six episodes will air, due to COVID-19 production restrictions, with the midseason finale bowing August 30. Filming for the final six episodes is expected to take place this summer.
