Looks like we won’t have to wait for “The Batman” to see Zoë Kravitz playing a badass vigilante. A new trailer for “Kimi” sees the “Big Little Lies” star investigating a crime that no one else seems willing to acknowledge. The cyber-thriller follows a voice-stream interpreter who is convinced she’s stumbled upon audio of a premeditated murder.
“Can we please call the FBI?” Kravitz’s character asks management. Rather than follow-up with her request, the higher up, played by Rita Wilson, brings up the fact that the voice-stream interpreter took mental health leave in the past, shamelessly gaslighting her.
Check out the trailer to see Kravitz take matters into her own hands.
“Mad Max: Fury Road” and the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise are among Kravitz’s best known credits. She plays Selina Kyle — AKA Catwoman — in “The Batman,” set to bow in theaters March 4.
“Kimi” launches on HBO Max February 10.
