TV: Trailer Watch: Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black Season 2

The clone drama Orphan Black, starring Golden Globe nominee Tatiana Maslany as seven different women (and counting!), helped put BBC America on the must-see map.

Maslany plays seven clones — among them a small-time drug dealer, a soccer mom, a Ph.D. student, and an assassin — who work together to uncover who created them and why. The pilot began with Sarah, a London criminal fleeing her abusive boyfriend, spotting a woman who looks just like her throwing herself in front of a NYC train.

The second season continues to follow Sarah and her “sisters’” efforts to keep one step ahead of their would-be killers while uncovering the mystery behind their origins. The trailer reveals that Sarah is apparently still resistant to being considered one of the clones. “There’s nine of you,” she’s told (some of the clones have already been murdered).

“No, there’s only one of me,” she answers defiantly.

Orphan Black will return on April 19.
