“I am sick to death of poor people.”
That about sums up the philosphy of The Riot Club, the ultra-exclusive society at already tony Oxford University, where the future leaders of the world learn to be unrepentant assholes — and maybe learn that they can get away with murder with the right connections.
Lone Scherfig’s drama has received a new (and improved) trailer ahead of its March 27 release date. In an interview with Women and Hollywood, the Danish director (“An Education,” “One Day”) noted that “the biggest joy [of making the movie] was filming a whole new generation of British actors.” The cast includes Natalie Dormer, Sam Claflin, Douglas Booth, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Max Irons.
Laura Wade adapted the script from her own West End play “Posh.”
