As we previously reported, Julie Taymor’s lawsuit against the producers of Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark was revived back in January. However, the expected settlement between the parties didn’t work out and a trial date has been set.

Judge Katherine B. Forrest has set a trial date of May 28th in New York. Both parties have until May 1st for the discovery process. Taymor sued producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah Harris, after being fired from the production, for being owed money for her work on the musical as well as copyright claim on the material.

Cohl and Harris countersued Taymor citing that she didn’t accomplish her duties on the musical.

In a New York Times article, an anonymous source said that both sides are still talking and there is still a possibility of a settlement.
