Tina Fey and Ronda Rousey Team Up for Paula Pell Comedy

Sisters"Sisters" is a bona fide sleeper hit: Since its release opposite "Star Wars" four weeks ago, the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler vehicle has racked up $94 million worldwide.

No wonder, then, that Universal is eager to team up "Sisters" star Tina Fey and writer Paula Pell — who have been working together for decades on "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" — for another project. The studio has bought a pitch from Pell about a group of "wealthy, pampered wives who get a rude awakening at a camp where Rousey plays the no-nonsense instructor," according to Deadline. Titled "Do Nothing Bitches," a phrase Rousey popularized with a viral video (see below), the film landed Pell a reported high-six-figures sum. Fey and Pell will produce.

It’s been a great weekend for Fey fans: Netflix announced that it has set a date for the second season of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" (April 15) and renewed the critically acclaimed sitcom for a third season. Fey has another upcoming starring vehicle in the black war comedy "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" (out March 4),  written by her "Kimmy Schmidt" co-creator Robert Carlock.

Rousey, too, is making inroads into the movies. She’s set to star in a movie about her life called "My Fight/Your Fight," as well as the remake of "Road House."

The MMA fighter will also host "SNL" on January 23.
