Trailer Watch: Elisabeth Moss Demands Justice in Season 4 of “The Handmaid’s Tale”

"The Handmaid's Tale"

“We’re the ones we’ve been waiting for,” says Elisabeth Moss in a new trailer for “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The fourth season of Hulu’s Margaret Atwood adaptation sees June (Moss) assuming the role of rebel leader and striking back against Gilead.

The spot reveals that the plane full of Gilead children that June helped escape has arrived safely in Canada, and she is considered “Public Enemy No. 1.” Despite being warned that “everyone that helps her ends up on the wall” and that he “can’t save her,” Nick is still trying to locate June. He’s not the only one. Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) is demanding that June be found and brought to her, and Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) is vowing to find and kill her.

June’s ready to go to war, but not everyone feels the same. “We came here to fight,” she reminds Janine (Madeline Brewer ). “No, you came here to fight,” her friend replies.

Determined to find vengeance and justice, June perseveres. “You have destroyed my life, my family, my friends, my country, and my child,” she tells Serena (Yvonne Strahovski).

Season 4 of “The Handmaid’s Tale” kicks off on Hulu April 28. The drama has already been renewed for a fifth season. The show’s many honors include Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (Moss) and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Reed Morano).
