The God of Mischief is at it again. Set after the events of “Avengers: Endgame” in an alternate timeline, “Loki” sees Tom Hiddleston reprising his role in the Marvel universe.
Dedicated to “protecting the proper flow of time,” the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) is holding Loki accountable for “breaking reality” when he picked up the Tesseract. They need his “unique Loki perspective” to help fix the problem.
“I know what this place is,” says Loki. “The Time Keepers have built quite the circus — and I see the clowns are playing their parts to perfection.” He adds, “It is adorable that you think you could possibly manipulate me. I’m 10 steps ahead of you.”
Kate Herron (“Sex Education”) directed Season 1 of “Loki.” The series debuts on Disney+ June 11. Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Owen Wilson co-star.
