Trailer Watch: Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn Go on Vacation in “Snatched”

“Snatched”

A hilarious red band trailer has dropped for “Snatched,” the long-awaited mother-daughter comedy starring Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer. Just as you’d expect, the two make a perfect tag team.

The NSFW spot kicks off with Schumer’s character, Emily, excitedly chatting with her musician boyfriend about their planned vacation. “Emily, I can’t go to South America,” he tells her. “My band is really blowing up right now, and where I’m going, there’s going to be, like, a ton of pussy.” Charming! Emily convinces her mom (Hawn), a worrywart with a wild past, to take the trip with her.

The clip includes plenty of memorable moments, including a misunderstanding about whale semen and an unfortunate incident that sees Emily caught washing her vagina in a sink.

“What I need is an amazing adventure,” Emily says. But the adventure gets more than a little out of hand when the mother and daughter become involved in a criminal underworld.

Directed by Jonathan Levine (“The Night Before,” “Warm Bodies”) and written by Katie Dippold (“Ghostbusters,” “The Heat”), “Snatched” hits theaters May 12. Watch the trailer to revel in all of its cringe-inducing humor.
