ArcLight Cinemas has announced additional speakers for the second annual ArcLight Presents Women in Entertainment Summit, which is taking place on November 10th.
As we previously reported, the Summit will be hosted by Gretchen McCourt, Arclight’s executive VP. The event will bring together leaders in the worlds of film, television, fashion, marketing, and music to spark dialogue about some of the most pressing issues affecting women in entertainment.
Previously scheduled participants include Geena Davis (founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media); I. Marlene King (executive producer of “Pretty Little Liars”); Bruna Papandrea (producer and co-founder of Pacific Standard); Bonnie Arnold (co-president of feature animation for DreamWorks Animation); Dalia Ganz (director, digital and partnership marketing for Freeform); Meredith Walker (co-founder and executive director of Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls); Julie Ann Crommett (entertainment industry educator in chief for Google); Diane Paulus (director of “Waitress the Musical”); Leah Butler (casting director, Casting Society of America); Mary Lou Belli (co-chair of the DGA Women’s Steering Committee); and Rob Thomas (creator of “Veronica Mars”).
The new additions to the already impressive roster include Suzanne Todd (producer of “Bad Moms”); Chiara Tilesi (founder of We Do It Together); Haifaa al-Mansour (director and writer of “Wadjda”); Betsy Beers (ShondaLand partner and co-executive producer; Ilene Chaiken (co-creator of “The L-Word”); Lydia Dean-Pilcher (vice president of the Producers Guild of America); and Madeline Di Nonno (CEO of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender and Media).
