Watch: “Gilmore Girls” Featurette Revisits the Past and Looks Into the Future

Alexis Bledel in “Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Life” featurette

Pour yourself a cup — or five cups — of coffee and prepare to be transported back to Stars Hollow by watching a newly released featurette celebrating the return of “Gilmore Girls.” The spot features stars from the much-loved WB series and forthcoming Netflix reboot discussing the past and hinting at the future of your favorite caffeine-addicted, pop culture-obsessed mother-daughter duo, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel).

“There are so many things that are my favorite about doing this show, but honestly, just playing this character is my favorite part,” says Graham in the featurette. Snippets of interviews show the cast praising “Gilmore Girls’” fast-paced, witty dialogue, and acknowledging the show’s special relationship with audiences. Along with Graham and Bledel, you’ll catch the actors who play Lane (Keiko Agena), Emily (Kelly Bishop), Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), and more.

“Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” is composed of four 90-minute chapters named after the seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. “Gilmore Girls” was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who executive produced, wrote, and directed the upcoming four mini-movies with Daniel Palladino. “A Year in The Life” hits Netflix November 25.
