Thirteen-year-old “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin just lined up her first producing credit. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has signed on to star in and exec produce “Little,” a Universal comedy that’s based on her idea. The pic follows a woman who gets the opportunity to relive her carefree childhood when adulthood becomes too overwhelming. Martin will play the character’s younger self.

“Drumline” screenwriter Tina Gordon penned the most recent draft of the script and will direct. “Girls Trip” scribe Tracy Oliver wrote the first draft of “Little.”

Best known for her role as Diane on “Black-ish,” Martin’s other credits include “Fun Mom Dinner,” “An American Girl Story — Melody 1963: Love Has to Win,” and “Nina.”

“I see myself directing, writing, doing my own TV shows and movies,” the two-time SAG award nominee has said of her future plans. “I see myself being a legend! [laughs] I don’t know what 30-year-old or 20-year-old Marsai would want, but there’s a path for me. And I want an EGOT!”
