Acclaimed actress Lori Singer will be honored at the Maine International Film Festival with a career retrospective.
The retrospective will include screenings of her films “Footloose,” “Trouble in Mind,” “Short Cuts,” and her latest project, the documentary “God Knows Where I Am,” for which she provides narration of “the diaries of a mentally ill woman, through poignant and powerful readings.”
Singer was a cast member of the much-beloved “Fame” television series, and was most recently seen in “Experimenter.” She won a Golden Globe in 1993 as a part of special Best Ensemble category for “Short Cuts.”
