Keira Knightley will be producing and starring in The Other Typist, based on the debut novel of Suzanne Rindell. Fox Searchlight has locked down the rights.
Set in the 1920s, Knightley will play Rose, a typist in a police station who is pretty lonely and isolated. She becomes friends with a glamorous and mysterious co-worker who introduces her into underbelly of New York.
Knightley will be seen next in Jack Ryan, with Chris Pine, which hits theaters on December 25th.
