Announcing New Weekly Feature: Women Filmmaker Wednesdays

Women and Hollywood is always looking for engaging ways to celebrate women in the film industry and we’re incredibly excited to announce the launch of a brand new social media campaign. Because there’s nothing better than women in film and hashtags, right?

Starting this Wednesday, we will be sharing a #WFW post on our Twitter and FB pages. And what is #WFW, you ask? It stands for Women in Film Wednesdays. We’ll be using our hashtag to highlight some super amazing women in film/TV. We’re hoping it will encourage our readers and followers to explore the contributions made by these women and hopefully even add a film or two (or 12) to their watch lists.

Now we know what you’re thinking: there are so many amazing women working in the film and television industry that we could actually have a Women in Film Monday Through Sunday. But that’s a little less catchy and this way you have something to look forward to each week!

So be on the lookout for our first #WFW help us spread the love by sharing and re-tweeting to all of your friends and followers.
