Twenty freaking years after her last show went off the air, Margaret Cho finally has another one on the way.

The Korean-American comedian will star in Amazon’s “Highland,” an hour-long dramedy created by Liz Sarnoff (“Deadwood,” “Lost,” Alcatraz”).

Cho will play a version of herself who, after court-ordered rehab, moves in with her dysfunctional family, who happens to run a pot dispensary.

Cho and Sarnoff will EP, while the latter will write the series.

The “30 Rock” guest star made TV history two decades ago by starring in the first Asian-American family sitcom, ABC’s “All-American Girl.”

We haven’t really seen Asian-American stoners in mainstream media since the “Harold and Kumar” movies, and certainly not female ones. Given that Cho has her own strain of marijuana, it’s probably fair to say we’ll finally see an Asian-American female cannabis devotee in “Highland.”
