Hope Gracin (Mia Rose Frampton, “Tammy”) is used to being known as “The Girl Dying of Cancer.” She’s popular at school, has a loving boyfriend, and her teachers don’t expect her to do any homework. She’s shocked — and not entirely happy — when new tests show that she’s in remission. If she’s not The Girl Dying of Cancer, who is she?
A trailer has dropped for “Hope Springs Eternal,” the story of a teen who isn’t ready to close one chapter of her life and start a new one. “I like things the way they are,” Hope tells a friend. To keep them that way, she decides to stall announcing her big news. “Is it better to die popular or live a loser?” she asks aloud.
“Hope Springs” hits theaters and VOD August 10. Stephanie Mickus penned the script.
