Parenthood is coming to an end this Thursday — get your tissues ready — which means we’ll have to say goodbye to Kristina Braverman. But we may be seeing lots more of Monica Potter, the actress who plays her. NBC has ordered an as-yet-untitled pilot starring and produced by Potter.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Potter will play “a woman juggling her busy family life as well as her three ex-husbands, which proves difficult when she starts dating again.” There will plenty of women joining Potter behind the scenes. Sherry Bilsing-Graham (Friends) and Ellen Kreamer (The New Adventures of Old Christine) are set to write and executive-produce with Ellen DeGeneres (and Jeff Kleeman).
Potter, who first appeared onscreen in The Young and the Restless, won a Critics’ Choice Award in 2013 for her portrayal of Kristina in Parenthood.
