‘Broad City’ Renewed for Season 3

Get your celebratin’ on, because Broad City has been renewed for a third season.

The second season of Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson’s sketch-sitcom hybrid premiered just this week, but the show has already earned a greenlight for a third year. Our TV critic Sara Stewart called Broad City “joyful [and] goofy” and praised its feminist-slacker utopian vision, which “represent[s] something very different and entirely delightful: a world in which [sexist] concerns are a faint hum in the background of New York City life, maybe a thing that’s happening in a midtown office somewhere, but not particularly relevant.”
