New Deadline for Women and Hollywood’s First-Time Female Filmmaker Contest

Thank you to all the women who have submitted films for Women and Hollywood’s First-Time Female Filmmaker Contest.

The response has been mind blowing, so much so that we have almost 1,000 submissions. Unfortunately, with this success we have reached the maximum capacity to screen these films and will be ending the submission process early.

The new deadline is Tuesday, July 18.

We apologize if this causes any difficulty or inconvenience for anyone. We just want to make sure that all the submissions are given proper consideration and are screened in a timely fashion.

Click here to submit your film via FilmFreeway.

You can also get involved by submitting a short video to our What Does Women and Hollywood Mean to You initiative. Click here to contribute to the project.

Thanks again to all our First-Time Female Filmmaker Contest participants! We really appreciate your involvement and continued support of Women and Hollywood.
