Those of us who have missed Kate Winslet playing headstrong women in period garb have much to look forward to in A Little Chaos.

Winslet is reunited with her Sense and Sensibility co-star Alan Rickman, who co-stars, wrote, and directed this uniquely premised drama. The Revolutionary Road actress plays Sabine, a female landscape designer, who questions gender and class assumptions when hired to create one of the main gardens at Versailles.

But the trailer focuses on Sabine’s relationship with her ally-turned-lover, a renowned architect (Matthias Schoenaerts) who happens to be married to a vindictive noblewoman who quickly learns of their affair.

Written by first-time writer Alison Deegan, A Little Chaos will open on March 27, 2015.
